The Grand Seiko SBGA421 is a limited production model specially made for the Japanese Association of Haute Horlogerie, as known as the AJHH. It is limited to 390PCS only. Basically, the SBGA421 design is based on the SAGA211 snowflake. Without a doubt, the SBGA421 uses the most reliable 9R65 spring drive calibre. The exterior and the bracelet are, of course, made of the Grand Seiko's famous bright titanium; scratch-resistant and lightweight.
The SBGA421 added the Japanese red rim chapter ring to the iconic white snowflake dial; along with a Japanese red-coloured second hand, both of these red-coloured touches are extremely eye-catching. Furthermore, the GS logo on the SBGA421 is uniquely designed in gold. The overall dial colour combination is not found in any other Grand Seiko that we have ever seen. The matching gold and red colours strongly expressing the Grand Seiko Japanese heritage.
Last but not least, when turning the watch over, the red sapphire-glass case back is so unique; never seen such a bold design from Grand Seiko before. The Spring Drive Mastercraft mechanical movement can still be explicitly seen through the transparent red sapphire.
This Grand Seiko SBGA421 is exceptionally rare and not easily available on the market.
