A special collaboration watch for the timeless masterpiece that shines in the history of the animation, "Heidi, Girl of the Alps," was about to launch to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its first broadcast in 1974.
"Heidi, Girl of the Alps" is a moving, epic animated film that tells the story of the growth of the young girl Heidi and her interactions with the people and animals that surround her as she lives in the great outdoors of the Swiss Alps. The original work is a novel by Swiss female author Johanna Spyri. It was produced by future animation masters Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki, and the 52 episodes were aired on January 6, 1974.
The refreshing sky-blue dial features the majestic Alps and white clouds. The fir trees and mountain huts of the Alm are showing at the 12 o'clock position; as well as the cute silhouettes of Heidi and Yuki-chan, are also a delight showing near the 6 o'clock position.
