Grand Seiko introduces a new generation Spring Drive caliber that is slimmer, even more, precise and has a greater power reserve. on this Grand Seiko Sports 60th Anniversary Limited Model SLGA001, the Caliber 9RA5 provides a stunning power reserve capacity for 5 days, taking Spring Drive technology to a new level of excellence and opening a new era in the history of Grand Seiko.
The slimmer body of the Caliber 9RA5 is derived from the redesigned and repositioned Magic Lever mechanism. In this new Caliber movement, the new Offset Magic Lever mechanism is positioned far away from the centre of the movement, resulting in reducing the thickness of the moving body. What is even more impressive is that this design does not reduce the winding efficiency at all.
The case on SLGA001 is in high-intensity titanium, which is 40% lighter than steel and more impervious to scratches. A special colour that symbolizes the brand. It is a special specification unique to the limited edition.
The SLGA001 is presented in a special Grand Seiko 60th anniversary box with an interchangeable blue silicone strap. It will be available worldwide in August as a limited edition of 700.
