This limited edition SBGC247 white snowflake dial commemorates the 15th anniversary of the first Spring Drive Chronograph ever produced by Grand Seiko, it featured Caliber 9R96, a uniquely tuned movement that offers an enhanced precision rate of ±10 seconds per month.

The GS lion emblem on the SBGC247 is manufactured in 18K yellow gold. The snowflake dial imitated the texture of the mountain snow surface that can be seen surrounding the Shinshu Watch Studio in late winter and early spring, imagine during the daytime when the temperatures start to rise, the wind blows to form a unique pattern on the sloping surface of the land covered in snow.
