Seiko has unveiled a new GMT diver's watch that joins the popular Seiko Prospex collection, the Prospex SPB381, SPB383 & SPB385
Featuring a new three-day movement, the Calibre 6R54, this watch boasts an extended power reserve and a GMT function. This latest addition is a testament to Seiko's commitment to pushing the boundaries of sports watches and diver's watches in particular.
This watch offers the convenience of independently setting the GMT hand in one-hour increments, allowing the wearer to keep track of time in a second time zone without interrupting the time-of-day hands. All three models in this collection come with Lumibrite on the hands and all 12 markers, a unidirectional bezel with a luminous pip, and water resistance up to 200 meters. The watches are also presented on a new slim-profile, three-link stainless steel bracelet that ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist.

In addition to the classic green SPB381 and black styles SPB383, there is also a limited-edition watch that commemorates Seiko's 110th anniversary, and Japan's first wristwatch. The watch boasts an intricately textured ice-blue dial that represents the power of polar glaciers that shape the landscapes and seascapes of the Arctic and Antarctic. This SPB385 limited-edition watch shares the same case and bracelet as the other two models, but comes with an additional strap made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, created using a traditional Japanese braiding technique called Seichu.

The watch with the ice-blue dial is part of the Save the Ocean series, which supports Seiko Prospex's mission to contribute to a greater understanding of the world's oceans and their preservation. All three watches will be available at Seiko Boutiques and select retail stores worldwide from June 2023. Seiko Prospex once again proves its reputation as a trusted and innovative brand in the watch industry with this latest collection.
