Grand Seiko has released a new green dial model, the SBGM241. This is an exclusive collaboration with the UK-based retailer Watches of Switzerland.
The word "Toge" in Japanese is referring to a mountain pass, the dial design is inspired by Mount Iwate which is visible from Grand Seiko's manufacturing studio in Shizukuishi. The snowflake dial comes in British Racing Green, which symbols the home base of Watches of Switzerland.
This Toge edition features a 39.5mm x 13.7mm case with Grand Seiko's "Zaratsu" polishing. For those who would not like to miss this rare timepiece, you may now preorder online, the official price is GBP 5,200 and expected to commence delivery in July.
