In celebration of the 140 Anniversary of Seiko, special limited models in the theme of Japanese scenery will be released for each Seiko sub-brand. And the very first one for Prospex, representing the Blue Sky series is the modern re-interpretation of 62MAS, Seiko’s first ever diver’s watch from 1965, in the all new white and blue colorway, the SBDC139 (SPB213J1).
The concept of this memorial series is to capture the scene of the blue sky piercing through clouds, the combination of the silvery case, white dial with blue accent on the face designs, imitates the scene as if looking towards a panorama of sunlight shines its brightness throughout the clear blue sky, inspiring us to embrace a brighter future.
The long thin hands spread across a plain clean white dial, matching with the exclusive sky blue bezel and markers. This SBDC139 (SPB213J1) is limited to only 6,000 pieces, it is not to be missed by Seiko supporters.
The watch is estimated to be available by mid June.
