Seiko has been proactive over the years and it has launched quite many models to celebrate many of their ‘anniversaries’. Took a step back, reviewed many of these recently launched models, and asked myself, if I would like to pick a piece that I find best for all occasions, it would be no doubt for me to pick the Seiko Prospex Hi-Best 62MAS SLA037.
Picking it up on my hand many months after my first impression last year, the SLA037 seems rather ‘comfortable’. The overall size and right felt just right, felt sturdy but easy to put on my wrist. The 62MAS classic design seems never outdated; it kind of matches anything found in my wardrobe just fine, maybe because my wardrobe mainly carries outfits that are blue or grey tone. Which, I think most men’s wardrobes are pretty much the same. Pretty sure the SLA037 will fit with either smart or casual and all occasions.
Other than the appearance, not needed to mention the quality of the 8L55 movement and the finely polished case, the SLA037 is absolutely the top of the line in all aspects.
For those who have only seen the SLA037 online or its official stock pictures, it is a bit difficult to truly understand how the sunburst dial is stunningly beautiful. Please check out the videos to make a judgment yourself.
