A majestic "sunrise" where the eastern sky is dyed red all over at sunrise, the dial design makes you feel the magnificent natural beauty of the Northern Alps with red and pink gold colors shining in the "snow white" pattern that is steadfastly popular at Grand Seiko.

Equipped with an original mechanism, the 9R65 caliber Spring Drive, the smooth movement of the hands expresses the Japanese aesthetic sense that "time changes and flows".

This Grand Seiko SBGA473 is only available at the two Grand Seiko boutiques in Japan, the "Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store" and the "Sogo Chiba Store", with an ultra-rare limited production of only 73pcs available. This is one of the rarest 9R Spring Drive pieces that you cannot miss!

Grand Seiko has adopted the "44GS Contemporary Design" on this watch, which is to provide a simple and clean style; that can be used habitually for a long time without getting tired. 

The Spring Drive 9R65 Caliber is designed, adjusted, and assembled by hand, by acclaimed craftsmen and women at the Grand Seiko Shinshu Watch Studio in Japan. Spring Drive, recognized as one of the great innovations in modern watchmaking, is a spring-driven movement with a state-of-the-art electromagnetic regulator that functions without an external power source. Its sole power source is a mainspring, which drives a series of gears like a traditional mechanical watch and delivers a precision of one second a day, a rate unprecedented for a watch powered by a mainspring. The Spring Drive movement further celebrates the passage of time as a poetic journey with every revolution of the second's hand around the dial.
